I am ready to give up my Mobjack.  Have owned for 18 years, with the mast and rigging kept in the garage.  Has two sets of sails and is a project boat, with work needed to the interior deck, the hull is fine.  Trailer, mast, boom, etc all good.

 Want it to go to a good home, will consider a tax donation or any reasonable offer.

Mobjack on trailer for sale

The Community Boating Center located in New Bedford, MA recently had a Mobjack sailboat donated.  The boat was owned by an individual working for Hinckly Co in RI.  It has been re-painted and well maintained.  It is on a trailer.  The donation did not include sails.

CBC is seeking to either sell the boat and trailer, or to accept sail donations.  We are a 501(c)3 and can offer you the full tax advantage of a sail donation.

Hull #370 for sale - $300

Mobjack hull #370 in fair condition. Hull itself is solid, no holes or soft spots. A minor fiberglass work is needed at the top edge (where the crew sits). Deck feels soft, but there are no visible holes. Bottom paint is not very smooth, but seems to be OK.  

Includes:::: rudder, centerboard, boom, mast with all wires, trapeze, jib blocks, one mainsheet block with cleat, most of the hardware, and trailer (rusty, no lights, may need a new tire, but it works). 

Missing:::: sails, another block for main sheet (without cleat), hardware in the bow that holds the headstay and jib, spinnaker pole, lines, anchor.

JIB for SALE
I think I have a Mobjack Jib in fair condition for sale.  It measures about 19'-4" on the luff and about 10'-4" on the foot.  It has a plastic window near the foot.  The sail was with a boat we had years ago but it has not been used for at least 10 years.  I am asking $100.00, which is negotiable.  I am more interested in getting it out of my house.  It is in Pasadena, MD, near Baltimore.  Call me at 410-437-5464 if interested.
